A restaurant can be the center of the community, particularly in a small town...a place where people gather not only to eat but to hear the latest news, crack the latest joke, meet the latest arrivals to town. In the community of Gladeville in Wilson County, that place is the Glade Diner. Rob Wilds recently went there to see why regulars bring fresh produce to be out on the plate and, even help clean up the plates once that produce is eaten.
Open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday.
