Red Boiling Springs got its name from the red tinted water that used to flow freely there in the early part of the 1900's. Back then, people converged on the town because they thought the water had healing powers. As the word spread, the town became a popular destination and dozens of hotels were built. Today only three remain, and one of them is the Thomas House--Tressa Bush takes us on a tour.
Tressa Bush has been a part of the Crossroads family since 2007. Born and raised in Smith County, Tressa continues to live there today but finds that with each new story she learns something new about Tennessee. A former Miss Nashville, Tressa also participated in the Miss Tennessee USA (a preliminary to the Miss USA/Miss Universe competition).
