If walls could talk then the lodge at Evins Mills could tell some amazing stories. The two story structure and adjoining grist Mill were built just outside Smithville by state senator Edgar Evins. He entertained a lot of powerful people there. Now a Nashville family owns the property and they've turned it into a rustic special event destination. Tressa Bush gives us a tour.
Tressa Bush has been a part of the Crossroads family since 2007. Born and raised in Smith County, Tressa continues to live there today but finds that with each new story she learns something new about Tennessee. A former Miss Nashville, Tressa also participated in the Miss Tennessee USA (a preliminary to the Miss USA/Miss Universe competition).
