Susan Watson takes us on a tour of Nashville's 8th Avenue Reservoir and learns that the city's water supply has to meet more stringent criteria than bottled water producers.

The grand 8th Avenue reservoir structure sitting high atop a hill in the heart of Nashville is impressive. It holds millions of gallons of water and has more than 100 years of fascinating history.

Susan Watson has been involved with Tennessee Crossroads, both behind and in front of the camera, since 1988. A Middle Tennessee native, Watson studied Spanish in high school and became interested in Mexican culture. She occasionally traveled to Mexico to teach English to middle-school children.
