The Knaughty Knitter

It's hot outside and sweaters and mittens are the last thing on most people's minds. Everyone except a group of yarn enthusiasts who gather year round at a little shop in Murfreesboro. As Susan Watson found out, they're a tight knit group with a shared passion for fiber art.

Store Hours: Mon, Tues, Thurs 10-5; Fri. 11-6; Sat. 10-3; Closed Wed & Sun. Knitting Groups: Thurs 10-1, Fri 6-8pm (Groups are free and open to all, ages 18+)

Susan Watson has been involved with Tennessee Crossroads, both behind and in front of the camera, since 1988. A Middle Tennessee native, Watson studied Spanish in high school and became interested in Mexican culture. She occasionally traveled to Mexico to teach English to middle-school children.
