Forbus General Store

Owner Joe Sells grew up nearby Pall Mall, TN and always wanted to open a general store, discussed it with his wife and children, tried to be a general store for a few years but did not work financially. So, he noticed a lot of tourists and he did not have anything for them to buy. And that’s when a light went off in his head to make and sell fudge. It worked! He’s living his dream, and Pig, well it’s just something the folks there do to pass the time. They take it seriously, gives locals a place to “hang out”, whittle on the front porch in summer, sit by fire in winter and play cards. Join Nashville Public Television’s Tennessee Crossroads to find out more about Forbus General Store.
